Nothing is erased from the blockchain. So, that's a moot argument from those who don't know how it works.
It takes away your rewards, but it doesn't mean you can't post.
That's true, but it makes your messages invisible, so others can not easily find the message.
Depends on the interface you use.
Also, almost all of them have a "show hidden" option. This is a user issue.
It's not invisible if you have your own website and pull your blog directly off the blockchain. or say you create your own steemit.com version that shows all posts.
