honestly, If you look at the amount of new users that are signing up daily plus the added content, plus all the organic searches, plus the incentive to leave steem in steem power. I recommending buying now before the price doubles, then doubles again ... and again..
What do you think will happen with the price? Will there be less steem being sold then before hardfork 19? Or more people will power up now they get more earnings than before!? I have no idea... But in the long term I see steem at 5-10 USD
Short term, my friend. For long term just add another zero.
I think it should be around 2.80 at the end of the month, after that I hope it skyrockets.
I'm not interested in numbers. Just imagine this: 200000 accounts, 10000 active 250 million steem and most of it already in steem power. Than add 100 million new users and try to figure out new price of steem. It'll be much, much higher. Nobody know how much.

Craig - The HF19 has just been phenomenal for minnows, prize money has been tripled. Earlier, the prize was meager 0.1 STEEM from my wallet as prize but now the post is earning more so I can give better prizes to winning minnows. As you say, the price of STEEM is the cheapest now and the popularity of STEEMIT is increasing. This itself shows the demand for STEEM; as seen by this graph of exponentially growing STEEM users:

As you say - STEEM will never be so cheap again!! I am trying to generate and GIVE AWAY as much as I can for minnows and am excited about it.

I think we're all still very early adopters.
I think we are about to see the price of Steem Sky Rocket...not just because of the New Hard Fork (which I am very bullish about), but also look at bitcoin and etheruem....When the price of bitcoin rises, Steem will keep growing.

Im looking on the past upvotes still to be paid . Yesteday on one of my replies ; your upvote was 90 cents worth. Now 7.03 dollars .everey day im using more and more steem instead of facebook . Wonder how many are on the same wave. But since i joined steemit( thanks to you ) im lovin how it flows .

Agreed. Hard call to say it wont ever touch 2.25 again, but I pretty much agree. I don't think it will ever come back to it.
HF 19 is like a dream come true and while STEEM is low right now, like you astutely pointed out, people are just going to sit on top of all of their STEEM, which is gonna drive the price of STEEM to the moon! Now I can dig that! Meanwhile, I'm trying to make as much STEEM and hold it in STEEM Power as I can here on Steemit - an investment that is definitely gonna change all of our lives in the very near future!
