I'm still trying to wrap my head around what digital currency is and how it works. In my experience, expansion, especially quick expansion of any business usually means a drop in value until they get back on their feet and figure out the logistics of new volume and overhead. Many businesses end up sinking the entire ship, whiles others manage to recover and thrive. Does steemit have a strong enough infrastructure to rebound from growth potential like that?
I'm all for beta products because you just never know if it's going to take off and finally lose the beta tag - but until then, I'm just going to keep contributing to the platform and see who else I can bring in. Too many of us writers have been burnt by sites that supposedly pay for community interaction and content - then close shop. I spend approximately 3-4 hours a day on Steemit since I've joined. I don't generate good money but I keep trying. Even with a livestreaming option, I don't know how much time I can keep investing. (sorry for the ramble. I'm just putting down random thoughts before I have a brain fart)
