How are squats making me stronger?
So it’s been a few weeks back into regular gym sessions, and already my legs are getting pretty strong again. Yes they are still not what they were but the strength is definitely coming back, and quick. Over the past 3 weeks I have stuck to a pretty basic training plan, incorporating squats, deadlifts, bench press and overhead press with a couple of other accessory exercises to give it a bit of variety. Needless to say it has all been working, keeping it basic and straightforward is the best way to build strength, if you are an experienced athlete or a complete beginner. These exercises should be a foundation to your training, stick to the basics and you won’t go far wrong.
