****Blocktrades is a great tool for exchanging some of your Steem into Bitcoin. To use Blocktrades is simple enough, and first your need to have a Bitcoin address to send your Money into. You could use a Bitcoin paper wallet for this or i like to send it to my exchange address, so i can see them amount credited simply, quickly and easily.
Taking a small amount of your Steem Power, and converting it to Steem, or changing some SBD on the internal currency market, is another step, so you have some Steem to send into your Bitcoin account, converting via Blocktrades.
I will be doing another top up of my Bitcoin from my Steem account in around a week, so i will guide you through the process Step by Step when i am doing that trade.
Another reason to cash out some Steem is because the price is very high now, and cashing out a little is taking some profits, which guareentees a return from your time on Steemit.
A few weeks ago i cashed up 170 Steem, and got 0.031 Bitcoin, this week i sent 59 Steem and got 0.028 Bitcoin, nearly the same amount of BTC for around 35% of the Steem used in the first trade.
I reckon it is best to keep as much as possible in Steem Power to benefit from future price gains, but cashing out a few small amounts around this time while the price is so high compared to Bitcoin seems like a great return at this time.

Thanks for the info. I'm still learning here. I just started getting my first Steem dollars rolling in this morning. It's exciting, but I still have a lot of work to do!
