Steem in my Local Currency (Philippine Peso)

in #steem7 years ago

Most information about Steem in other currencies would usually be in US Dollars or Bitcoins, and seldom in other currencies like our own Philippine Peso. So, I don't really search Steem prices in Php. I'd usually look it up in USD or BTC then manually do calculations to get a feel how much that will be locally.

Recently though, I tried looking up Steem in Php and I was surprised to find a result! It was from the Coingecko.com website.

It isn't limited to showing Steem's value in my currency. It has listed multiple conversion pairs where you can choose from:

I will not be discussing everything that's inside coingecko, you can just simply go to their website and view them (they do have multiple tabs that can prove useful to some).

Price Chart

The price chart is where you'd get more information about Steem in your own currency (I'll use php as an example):

Steem Price Chart Philippine Peso (STEEM/PHP)

Steem price for today is ₱221.6458. It has a current circulating supply of 254 Million coins and a total volume exchanged of ₱4,106,587,168

It gives you the price at the moment, the circulating supply, and the volume in Php across the top.

Then you have a line graph of current and past prices that can be sorted between the last: 24h, 7d, 14d, 30d, 60d, & 90d. As well as all the past prices since launch. It gives you a good deal of view in regards to Steem's value in your own currency which is easier to understand that viewing graphs in BTC.

Imagine being a master trader and buying at those lows and selling for profit for those highs, then maybe buying again to accumulate Steem on the new low prices? You'd be crazy rich.
