It's probably also the SKoreans who pushed SBD above Steem again. I find it very disturbing that everyone thinks SBD is the official currency although it is just a electronic fiat currency.
When looking at SKorea you must never ignore NKorea, they are heavily invested and I could imagine they are a major player in the anonymous Steem/SBD universe. But I really don't know what they (or anyone else) specifically find appealing about SBD compared to Steem. Rational would be if Steem goes up.
