My take on Tesla is that it is to early to the party. Their profits are non existent but yet the stock continues to go up. Elon Musk is a visionary there is no doubt about that, but if the US GOV ever decided to strip away subsidies for Green Energy initiatives Tesla would be toast. I think there will be another copycat down the road that will receive the ultimate glory for badass electric cars. The internal combustion engine will continue to dominate with the remainder of cheap cheap energy prices. Also the infrastructure for electrics needs to be built up around the country for a mass adoption of these vehicles.
