Maybe it was the recent fork and subsequent change of version, but it's confusing me as to how STEEM withdrawals and deposits are still disabled on every exchange after almost a week. I need to dump my STEEM already!! Let me buy HIVE!

what exchange are you using? Binance is working right now.
I'm using mostly Bittrex and Blocktrades.. Binance is not the best for U.S. customers
Blocktrades is not taking steem anymore i believe. So you are left with bittrex. I cant use bittrex without a VPN because i am in NY which bans them. I dont have much of a choice in the matter. They are still letting you move steem and trade it though.
The dump is happening at Binance.
Mind you, one man's dump is another man's bonanza. I see some Koreans are buying everything up.
Yeah the price action looks good for now.. who knows how long that will last
