While many of the other top 20 crypto currencies have had a good summer stem has stalled and began a steady drop. Do you think we are heading for the old bottom or is this just a bump in the road?
New user registrations just hit a record and I would think this would raise the value. Are people registering and then fleeing?

I think most who are new here get discouraged very fast and leave which is strange to me since it was fine for them when they don't get paid at all on other social media platform. Maybe it's just the promise of rewards when they first heard of steemit that caused most to have unrealistic expectations. As for the value of steem, I would think it's probably correlated with the growth of steemit.
I think part of the issue is that this is more of a blogging platform. It can be difficult to catch posts from people you really want to see unless you go find them, no direct messing which is huge not to have any some other issues that make it less social friendly. I understand steemit is in beta but I hope they address some of this.
Me too my man, I'd like to talk with cool people I meet here it'd make it more engaging. Right now I'm getting hit with a buncha random stuff Im not interested in. I'm actually starting to pare down my following. I followed too many people out of the gate. You're cool tho so I'll keep u haha
I hear that. I did the same thing and followed way too many people, I've been cutting it down but still need to do some more. Oh wow, I made the cut? I'm gonna call my mom and tell her!

It is slightly odd why the price is dropping. And rather worrying. Steemit will prosper if the price goes up. I am not sure how it will do otherwise.
While user accounts are rising healthily, active users is still less than 10% of total accounts. More worringly perhaps, is that despite growing user accounts, total daily number of posts and comments is gradually going down, or at best flat :
With the steem price being lower, new users will be put off with their post earnings being so very poor in the most part.
I think people are signing up and then just leaving after getting a small post payout. I have noticed a large drop in activity on my posts and the people I follow. We shall see.
Yes I am seeing much less in my feed from those I have followed.
I don't really see Steem price rising much as long as they keep pumping out as much new steem as they want.
