RE: Whiny morons don't deserve rewards!

@generation.easy I’m trying to understand the difference between not caring about the money and popularity on steemit? I notice the “following” is the same as any game on Facebook. Who your friends are brings you awards since they may gift you or vote for you. Are people even reading the content of a post or just voting because it a friend ring? I’m still tryin to grasp terms like whale, etc. Also, I see people posting photos: one of a “17 year old girl” if that’s really her account, a guy who posted a hospital photo of his mother dying and a girl who shows her A$$, and then they ask for upvotes? All Looks suspicious to me! Then I’ve read posts of people talking down to others yet they’re guilty of saying “follow me.” In my first week on steemit I’m finding quite a bit of hypocrisy. Just a newbie here trying to find the real people that want to contribute, write positive content, and survive the Apocalypse ... 🙋🏽‍♀️
