Probably not really the thread for it, but it made me think. What I want is a line of clear separation from the steem wallet and the actual posting aspect.... have multiple levels of protection, 2 factor authorisation, hard wallets support, riddle solving.... etc. anyway the point is just I think the two aspects shouldn't really be combined, and everyone would be better off keeping them separated. If for nothing else than not needing to keep entering your account level private keys every time you want to do something serious, like fomo'ing away a few hundred steem every few days because you think maybe now ripple might blow up this time.

Yes, it's better to address this to the developers from the Steemit team. They constantly improve safety and other important components, because this is the basis for future growth. Steem provides the blockchain, we are mainly focused on the development at the second layer for now.
