This post is dedicated to all Steemit Newbies who are wondering where to trade or encash their STEEM & SBD rewards.
There are 6 known exchanges (where you can trade) with a total of 18 STEEM & 6 SBD pairs. See table below.

Unfortunately for me I had Poloniex account closed because they could no longer support the State I reside in. Right now I am on Bittrex, just trying get used to the UI and all of it's features at the moment.
Even me, ive just siged-up in bittrex and i had migraine looking at it ;)

try first in smallest amount as Hard Fork 19 just launched lately. Some exchanges temporarily disabled STEEM & SBD transactions.
Can i ask if it's the master password i need in accessing the private active key??
The active key is used to make transfers and place orders in the internal market.
The owner key is the master key for the account and is required to change the other keys.
The private key or password for the owner key should be kept offline as much as possible.
if Poloniex is auto detecting your state where you live in, maybe you can try VPN.

The easiest way I know is thru https://shapeshift.io, but at the moment STEEM is temporarily not available probably due to launching of Hardfork 19 lately.
With poloniex, it is also easy. I can do a webinar for free. Just Request.

From these exchange how do you convert it to php?
are you using coins.ph? or a different exchange?
from the exchanges mentioned above, all you need is to trade your SB or STEEM to Bitcoin, and send it to COINS.PH BTC wallet. Then convert to Php.
yes Im using coins.ph too..
Another way is thru BlockTrades.
from steemit going to blocktrades (convert SBD or STEEM) to BTC and directly send to coins.ph BTC wallet. Once received, you can convert to php.
