From what I read, it takes 13 weeks to withdraw all of your Steempower into Steem tokens. Each week you get 1/13th of what you have. I saw a guy who was powering down and when I looked at his wallet, it said 100,000 Steempower down in 6 days. That was yesterday.

I expect things will continue to improve. The hiccups come in exciting times. Hard to complain about a trebling in your asset in two days.
If I hadn't needed junk silver in hand, I'd have put it into Steem. Can't predict every little move, and I expect that Steem will still be available the next time I have a couple bucks, or I'll be glad I had to wait.
