RE: WHY BOTHER LEARNING HOW TO DO THINGS THE OLD WAY?

in #steem7 years ago

I keep being shown where I need to prep better just by the situations that arise. Where I live, there's never been a recorded tornado yet in January our NOAA radios and cell phones started wailing and we found ourselves hiding in the closet. The tornado came down less than 2 miles from us and ripped out a large oak tree and flipped cars. Made me think of other things I need to prrep for too. You just never know! And you're right about other people. I've literally been laughed at by friends and family but life catches up to them too at some point and they start asking me how to make it. Gotta start with a servant's heart and go from there🌻 Thank. You for the resteem and upvote!

Very true. We had a major ice storm that caused our electricity to be out around 8 days two years back. There were quite a few things I hadn't thought of yet as far as preps. We had the big stuff down thankfully, but we were able to see several ares we needed to work on.

We were expected to get another ice storm a week after the electric was finally restored. Needless to say, when the electric went out again, we had those things.

We can definitely learn from other's situations as well. I hear them say they wished they had this or that or had done this or that to be prepared. Learn from their mistakes.

There is always something more to learn.

You are very welcome on the upvote and resteem. 😉
