Well, we did see a significant price spike on the (fake?) news, and that while BTC was going down a bit. Hopefully we can hold on to part of those gains till BTC decides to go back up

    Yep, there have been a few lately. Two of which were on bittrex only, a good sign as it wasn't bot initiated.
