the message as I understood is that there is really no value in the content, its just milking the vote that matters. But the whole value of steem is based on perception and if more people see this as something that is a scam (which it is not) then the less it will be worth and then getting those votes without content are not going to be worth anything anyway...

Oh okay. I get the point. I missed it at first. Yeah there are some whales out there doing that. I try to stay out of the drama. Lol I post already enough unpopular opinions that gave me a "bad reputation" to the eyes of a lot of bigger users in the community.
