A lot of posts and developments I have missed. Partly because we are currently experiencing power outages. Up to 7-odd hours a day in 2,5 hour slots, so when it's on 3d life takes priority.
That said, and as I have said elsewhere, this is a war of attrition and the momentum is dropping. This helps to maintain it and keeps us on our toes
Is there any sign that the load-shedding will finish soon? Is it getting worse?
Actually, it's up and down. In the last 2 days we've been from Stage 4 to 3 then to 4 then to 2. Right now we're on 1. The powers that be have told us to expect loadshedding for the next 18 months. Since there's been a change in the guard as it were and they're cleaning house (too many cliches), I am happier to put up with it. There's a bit more candour when there's a breakdown and a commitment to actually stabilising and improving the system. Of course, the economic impact of Covid-18 might mean that demand reduces and they get it sorted quicker. I have to find an up-side in all of this....
Thanks for asking.
Hope it all sorts out soon.
Thank you!
