I'm actually planning a post about why you shouldn't listen to advice on crypto on Steemit. It's like listening to a broker working for a specific company on why you should buy their stocks.
That post will also delve on how you should actually look deeper to what hidden agendas people who give you advice have, and it's going to use two whale/orca posts as example, and one of those will be by Jerry.
I do believe Jerry's a nice guy, but his understanding of the platform and the math that underlies it is shaky at best, and it's also hampered by the fact he's 1. So invested in the platform so has an incentive to get you to buy in. 2. Runs a bid-bot, so... yeah.
Also, as a blogger, I hate Steemit's lack of ability to let me control my posts, and the potential harm to my own google rank on the blog I've been running since 2007? A real concern.
