I don't see any reason why Steem, and all Cryptos can't soar to some pretty incredible heights!!!! As more and more of the "Unwashed Masses" begin to understand that their fiat money is nothing but a ponzi scheme anyhow.... Crypto-currencies will become more and more attractive for mainstream use. I'm starting a small business of my own, based on "Urban Farming." We hope to start getting it off of the ground next Season. We'll be farming our 1 acre, and are designing a "Produce Stand" that will take up half of our 2 1/2 car garage. We'll definately be accepting Bitcoin, and Steem for our food, we sell.
