I have Joined steemit.com on 12 June 2017 and Steem price was $2.60
I am now 4 months later with Steem playing for the last month at around $1
I am thinking is still Steem considered a cheap crypto!
I saw Steem not long time ago at $0.75 on Poloniex
It kind of makes me believe that Steem at $1 may be a big price
It make me believe I should wait a little more before buying any more Steem
However as we know kripto is very volatile anything can happen and/or see the price going to the moon or to the dirt 💩 in minutes
But thinking long term Steem should have a higher value
I see and I understand that we are not too man active users that post consistent
I see that upvotes are not being spread across as much as it used to be
The number of registered accounts increases every day and this is a good sign
What i still don't like is that not too many of those registered have any idea about crypto and that I think is a put off for many users
They don't really understand how it all works
IF They Power up, they have to wait 3 months to fully withdraw their Steem
I personally know is a great thing and for that reason I only Power Up and even buy to Power up
However many don't really understand it all
Maybe they don't even know about Bitcoin
And so they have to study how to make a wallet
How To exchange the bitcoin at the atm
Learn about blocked transactions, double spending, blockchain and all the other stuff that comes with crypto that the poor people may not even ever head about Bitcoin
How many bitcoin traders like to blog?
Just a few and we are already here
IF Steem could have been bought with Fiat direct from your bank account that would have been a huge deal
And I am sure millions of people would want to register ASAP
But for now I see Steem a bit expensive
Mainly because I saw it at $0.75 about 2 months ago
And second because it quite complicated for most of the population
They just don't have that much understanding of Cryptocurrencies
They don't have computer skills but they know how to write amazing books
I really hope buying steem sbd with Fiat to become a reality
We wouldn't have to suffer every time when crypto crashed
Thank you very much for Reading
If bitcoin experiences a serious correction $1 will seem really expensive. That will drive a lot of people off the platform and almost reset the entire thing. That will be the time to buy in!
While your points are very true, keep in mind that many things are in the making to streamline this process and allow mass adoption to be much much easier. Yes, Steemit is difficult to understand, and BTC is hard to understand.
I like to think about it this way. People don't understand how to dollar works either. Oil backed ETF's and futures, printing money and inflation...it's all one big puzzle to the average person. But just as the internet did in the 90's, things will come along that make it easy, (and stable) enough for average joe to put his 401k in crypto. I think what you are asking is, are people too stupid for something like this....well...maybe. But don't worry, the easy buttons are all coming out now!
Thanks for dropping by
It might be that people are too stupid for crypto
All good I am sure Steem has a great future anyway
Keep it up
You are right, the lack of knowledge of the people on the Blockchain is affecting as well the steem price.
We have the obligation to spread that knowledge to the rest of the population since no one player of the current economical system is going to do it because it will mean his suicide.
So spread the Blockchain and everybody will be benefited
We are all probably doing as much as we can
But not everyone understands it
Cool
Keep it up
We have to insist...the people who tell now that don't understand, will come soon to ask you again, and then, you have to be prepared with the proper information.
Cheers
The next bitcoin is coming!
