RE: THE BIGGEST Problem With the World?!?

So very true. Financial gain is often the reason behind a law. As a christian my moral and understanding of what is right and what is wrong comes from the Bible. It surely would be for the good of a nation to implement The Ten Commandments.

Sort:

If the nation implemented the 10 Commandments though...would you be okay with them implementing certain commandments of other religions? One person says his holy writings trump yours; you say the opposite. Who is right? Upon what basis is your book's words superior to another book's words? I ask this in sincerity, not to condemn your beliefs.

One of those Commandments, for example, is, "You shall have no other gods before Me."

Who you define as "Me" and who a Buddhist or a Muslim or some other religious person defines as "Me" is completely different. Are you willing to force your belief, through legislation, on people who aren't willing to go along with your belief?

Is it possible that the "holy books" and I mean all of them were written by mere men and here we are today arguing over who's accepted into "his kingdom" or who's "going to hell?"

Curious as to your reply.

The ten commandments are a part of many different religions. They are the basis for many laws in different countries.
