Yes! I am very sure about this. Steemit will surely become a main stream social media in the future because it's users are always increasing very drastically every year.
New users are always signing up on Steemit almost everyday and this has shown the great development on Steemit blockchain. The more active users we have on this great platform, the more popular and productive Steemit becomes.
The main fact is that everyone is tired of wasting their time and money on social media without gaining something back in return. Everyone now wants to be part of websites or social media platform that can enable them earn more money after their activities on the site. This is one of the great reasons most website developers are now creating websites built on blockchain to enable users earn after taking part in their activities. This won't be surprises if more websites like Steemit is created in the future because everyone wants to make money.
