'WHO AM I?' is the question that we often ask ourselves and we find it difficult to answer this question authentically and honestly. We often tend to be what other want us to be and so we miss our tire or real self. Due to this our real self has been pushed beneath the surface by the hand of time, circumstance, pains, fear, people and peers and we gradually become what other want us to be. But our vocation is to discover our true self and become what we are.
Carl Jung wrote extensively about the process of individuation, which, in short is the layered process of finding your true, authentic self. Hence, discovering our real self is a journey to wholeness. It is becoming more and more what we really are.
Children are great teachers indeed. They have a lot to teach us about discovering our real self. Children live a true life for they are alive, energetic, creative, curious, spontaneous and adventurous. This is really the part of who we are, when we feel more authentic, genuine and spirited. This we call "Real Self or True Self or the Deespest Self".
( Let us then discover our true self, be authentic, true to our real self and become what we really are.)☺☺☺
