I was thinking we could easily take the BAT model and port it onto Steem. It is all open source.

It wouldn't take a lot technically to create an account that provides upvotes based on the number of unique visitors to a post.

The real challenge as always is finding someone to donate/delegate that SP.

Easily (maybe not so easy).... I am no expert at this but I do feel that it can be done.

Theoretically It could take Steem far beyond any growth projections that we may have. Steem already has the advantage of multiple dapps running successfully, the users of which would pounce on this if it were to happen.

That being said, going the SMT route isn't bad either......although I think that the two ideas can cohabitate on the same blockchain.

Ya I believe it is a big opportunity. What BAT did was genius and by either building the same model using STEEM or a SMT, even both. If no one does it I will have it built, I believe it is that important.

Count me in. I am no developer or promoter but I'll be able to make some noise about it :-)
