How do you like your payout?

Do you know that there are three options for receiving your payouts?

This pic was taken using the eSteem mobile app.

Most posts are made using the 50/50 default. Your payout will be 50% steem backed dollars and 50% steem power.

Your other choice is 100% steem power. A great choice for anyone who wants to reinvest their payouts to increase their influence and voting power. You will see a blue logo before the post to indicate the steem power choice!

Last choice is to decline payout! This will accumulate steem but will not be paid out. The earnings will be burned instead. There are a few of these that are usually created by developers.

So, what is your favorite choice and why?

I know there are three different payout modes, but I've never used the declining one. How does that even work? You receive small chunks over time?

No payout at all! I believe it gets burned. I will be doing another post soon about burning steem as soon as I have finished my research.

I wouldn't mind reading up on the declining payouts. Btw, why would someone not want a payout? Isn't that what Steemit is for?

Thats what i was thinking. Even donate it if you want to be charitable!!!!

Burning it is kinda like charity to everyone. The more rare Steem dollars are the more they'll be worth, so if a lot of Steem is burned everyone holding Steem will gain a lot of value

The default one is always good, you could reinvest your SBD's with the help of @booster or @minnowbooster.

I have always done default. Recently been holding my sbd to invest with minnowbooster i think it is. Pays interest on your investment.

Nice! I reinvest the sbd into my own steem power.

It seems to me that 50/50 is the most popular choice. I would have to run some figures to be sure, but I think they also get better payouts, too.
