I just did but I didnt get a proper destination address... tried it with only 0.5 steem to test it and I didnt work

They are actually still testing it, I wouldn't be trying to exchange anything yet. They haven't posted an official release yet.
Check my reply further up. They were only giving it a slight test... in production... It's gone now
