When the price finally pumps again $1 will look cheap. Thats only a 10X and for Crypto I have seen 20X returns with some good coins. Steem can grow fast if the communities and new upgrades work well.

When do communities kick in? I agree communities would grow Steemit fast but without Dan Larimer I don't know who will be doing the backend work or where the code is. Let's just say I'm reasonably concerned they wont be able to pull it off.
Satoshi Nakamoto pulled out of Bitcoin in its early stages also and see where Bitcoin is today. What's great about these decentralized open protocols is that once a project gets a base it can live and even thrive a very long time without the original founder or founders. Funny SN could be Dan L.??? Seems like there's a possibility since Dan has been around in this space since then and the personality SN meets Dans. Probably very unlikely but just food for thought.
Yeah, Bitcoin in it's civil war, unable to hard fork without controversy, with no governance model. I'm not impressed by where Bitcoin is today with lack of leadership and or governance.
I hope Steemit can do better than that.
