If you hurt someone, it's normal they want to hurt you back. @blocktrades brought this on himself by failing at being anon, while pushing forward the hive fork (you can see its mostly his devs working on hive - not really the community devs). Needless to say he is voice of HIVE. He did the announce too.
Good luck convincing Koreans / Chinese people who currently control STEEM not to take vengeance now, although I would agree with you, I don't see it as a fruitful discussion subject.
It's probably futile of me to ask for people to cool their engines. Forks are almost always born in tumultuous situations, and regardless of the passage of time, the rivalries don't actually just disappear.
All that being said, we all know that two wrongs don't make a right... or at least we should all know this.
