Oh man, I don't know what to think of this. How far does it go? Is Steem decentralized enough? What are Justin Suns' plans? Steem is definitely having issues but dam Ned (One of the Steemit Founders), really?

i was thinking this last year allready, when steemit was in the bad condition... now it comes true...
Really not sure what it could mean for us, if it's true. Steem is far more than Steemit now, but they hold a lot of SP.

Keep in mind that Steemit is not steem the blockchain, it is just a dapp utilizing the steem blockchain.
Steemit Inc is a little more than that. They are also the developers of the blockchain in that they write all the code.
There are two big projects that are in the works for Steem that could be affected: SMTs and Communities. Neither are fully launched.
Odds are this is not real news since no major site is even talking about this.
That is what I mentioned in the video. How far it goes is the question.

I posted this as well but thought it was probably a rumor, but it's looking more real. Tron has an active community so this may be a good thing. Like you said, how far does it go. Is it just Steemit?

A rich person can buy enough STEEM to basically own this place.
Their vote matters in who's a witness.
And... so, this could be business as usual, or it could be a complete destruction of "decentralization".
Steemit really needs some help and guidance in their programming for STEEM.
