Yeah, it was horrible and still feels terrible. There are many things in my life that doesn't "click" the way it should, or the way I want... But no one is ever gonna give me everything on a silverplatter, so I need to get it myself. It's not easy, but if I don't do it, who would?
There is obviously a huge difference between being in a messed up situation that requires immediate assist, and what so many of these people call "poverty". I don't mind helping others, and I have given away a bunch of Steem and SBDs to many different causes and people, but I can't "cure" poverty, and my few STEEM wouldn't make a difference in these peoples lives. Sure, they might get food on the table today, but what about tomorrow? Next week? Next month?
These types of people, especially STEEM-beggars, need to realize that they need to do things differently to ever reach any form of change. Begging is not the answer.
