Steem will continue to grow organically. There's so much value to this entire network and community. Currently, with the crypto bull market and mania .. many newbies are in coins that only have "hype" but no substance. Litecoin honestly doesn't really do much except be a coin for transaction ... yes it toutes itself as being fast and cheaper, but that will soon be outdated itself. More valuable coins like ETH will have figured out how to be faster and decrease fees. Like you said, Steem is faster and has less fees, so all the people calling out saying that "their coin" is faster and cheaper, is just marketing gimmicks.
