But I can say that, steem would gain more attraction when the steem price rides top (may be $6 to $8). That attracts more and more potential investors to steem.
I can predict that, soon people gonna ditch YouTube, Reddit.
We all are in early stage, there is lot more left for steem to unfold. Note my comment, @inventor16 people like you (also you) will be on the list of Steem WHALES
I think what if guys like with high steem power like you..
start contests like best author or best curator or best value added user (like a user who grown in little time having high followers with more reputation power)
And award the money to winner earned by the contest post.
@inventor16 some thing like this, can go viral and every one starts referring steem to every one.
May be that helps to grow steem irrespective to the price rides.

@chandu91 I think those contents are already in place in a way that's how steem works already, the top posts are supposed to rise to the top naturally. I'm donig it within my own following by upvoting comments that I think are funny or add value.
I think before the end of the year for sure. The site has already gained so much Steam! It'll only continue to grow from there as we gain more press and recognition. I would say the latest maybe by next July if things keep up the way they are.
Yes, even I suppose by end of the year it should reach top 1000. The growth is tremendous, just need to maintain the momentum. The only worry I have is up till when steemit will keep providing payouts. There would be some limitation to keep offering free coins. Do let me know if you have idea about this.
@mittalpatel The Steem rewards are paid out of the steem inflation I believe which is around 9.5% and decreases 0.5% each year, I'm not sure what will happen as the inflation rate becomes very low, but if it becomes a problem they can raise the inflation rate again with a hard fork.
I suppose it might reach there in 2018. Currently it is jumping numbers quickly but as it climbs up the competition will be fierce. Similar to how reputation works on steemit. It's easy to reach from 25 to 40 but then it starts getting tougher to increase even one point.
The websites at top would have regular traffic so steemit will also need to reach that level.
Content is being generated at lightning speed and new members are pouring in. Recently steemit crossed 200K+ members. We can imagine how much value will be added when many of this 200K will actively participate in discussion and post something interesting. Now on there is no look back for steemit!

So, yes, it is rising at very good speed :-)

I think it will take a bit longer than the end of the year. Perhaps early summer next year. My guess is that as Steemit progresses it will be increasingly harder to reach the next rank.

Those are my views to increase the value of Steem and getting higher Alexa rank. Achieving the top 1000 rank.

That makes sense. Thanks for this info. I will dig deeper into it myself to figure what future holds for steemit rewards.
