@inventor16 I feel no post deserve lesser power. Because it's all his 100% efforts what he can do. That may look for others like it doesn't worth a penny. But for the user who created the post is everything to him.
A gratitude to him with full vote encourages him to develop more, bring more quality and valuable content to community. That's his motivation. In this process his own skills will also develop. You are indirectly helping him to grow his skills.
A full power vote to a user worth lot more than what he got with in SBD.

My suggestions for the word to describe "100% upvote" would be:
100UV - this gets bit longer but it explains the whole phrase correctly
CUV - C means 100 in Roman. So it is same as 100UV but shorter by 2 characters
GB - God Bless 😉 (after all you are showering with some $$$ blessings)

So when you like someone's comment or post you can use the slider to choose how much you want to give them between 1-100%

That slider to select voting power from 1 to 100% is not available to everyone. Only members with 500+ STEEM Power gets to choose voting power. For others it works by default. So it is possible that @defiant might not have seen it.
100 percent upvote its a function by which you can adjust power of your vote you want to use for vote.
