so I bought steem when it was around $2.30 and now it has skyrocketed to a peek of eight dollars and is now going back down to seven dollars I don't weather i should sell it right now or hold on to it hoping that it will go back up. I also don't know why it went up so high, because Im fairly new to cryptocurrencys I don't know what I am doing so any feed back would be nice. 
Personally I am buying and holding. There are a lot of reasons why it may have gone up, but not objective. The best thing you can do is study what people are writing about it. The trending page for steem will get you to a lot of interesting discussions via articles and comments.
