RE: Steem's Economic Model - Thoughts on Profits and Sustainability

in #steem6 years ago

I will be honest - I could not follow the post , I blame my short attention span

What I did gather :

  • Social engagement on steem isn't sufficient condition for success.
  • Social engagement is a necessary condition for success.
  • SP used as a tool create a moat around your acccount ( network ) will bode better than SP used a pure investment tool
  • BTC will beat steem in conversion ratio for forseeable future.
  • But you can't use BTC holding to create a moat around your wallet , which still serves you even after cashing out.

You did pretty good. I realize this is complex to explain and I may not be the best person for the job.

Maybe I'll brake it down into short videos one day. I'll think about it.

add/edit to my takeaways ?

  • Transitioning to Bandwidth Tokens
  • New Floor Valuation because of SMT
  • Attract Passive Investors

Maybe those....

Here is how bad I am at reading... I did not even SEE these points mentioned in my first few attempts
of reading the post
