This might be hurting to see as a whole and I'm personally alarmed by the news @ned is bringing. But it takes a lot of courage to inform the community regarding the layoff.
The price hurts and the bear market surely killed potential investors. We'll soon get there, I still believe.
It does hurt, but I'd argue that the price is actually good for investors looking to get into Steem. A high price is a barrier, while a lower price attracts those wanting to get in.
