I'm more concerned with beheadings than hate speech. One kills someone. Period. The other might make someone, somewhere, at some time feel bad.
Yeah, not many people enjoy watching someone rant about the evils of Zorblox or whatever their personal soap box is, but we have a mute function and a flag function.
Free speech is not a right. It is a privilege. Inviting an oversight committee boils down to you surrendering that privilege over to them and saying "I'm not enough of a responsible adult to have this. Keep it away from me."
