I've taken a break from using Steem for a while (Sorry if you were waiting on posts, life got in the way).
The steem blockchain is very fast, is running nowhere near it's max efficiency and is one of the most active blockchains. It is also well known in the cryptocurrency, blockchain and decentralized space, as well as people who believe in censor resistance.
But I only have came across one person who is not in these circles who has heard of steem.
This is a big problem if we want the platform to reach a large audience. This is amazing platform and there are many benefits, such as transparency, the ability to earn a income, no advertising and full privacy control.
Issues with mass adoption, or what could at least not help benefit the steem network.
This can be more low quality posts and a harder means to get your content to the world. But I guess these can be mostly easily fixed with some different UI perspectives on showing the blockchain data, such as more defined groups or communities (maybe using custom tags) and possibly some slight changes in the reward distribution algorithm.
So go tell everyone who uses Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube.... the list goes on... if they are content creators or love scrolling .. to look at some steem alternatives.
Cheers anyway, those were just my thoughts
