Could be people buying into the Bitcoin fork.
Coinbase sent me an email saying that BTC balance
will get an equal amount of the new forked currency
(like they did with Bitcoin Cash).
Probably will be a BTC post-fork drop as everyone takes their profits and goes back to their previously scheduled cryptos.
But in the meantime, cheap Steem ;-)
Steem will likely go much lower. I'm buying more at .50 cents usd
I am rather frustrated by steemit lately after getting many friends to sign up they largely got tired of the site being down and being a victim of censorship by whales who didn't like there political posts. I love our steemit community! I do! But steemit has many more issuies then most of us admit. The white paper is crap so many who are early crypto investors don't like it.
That all said I'm staying in the fight! I do sell some steem to buy more bitcoin but I'm gonna be here for a while and I will fight for our steemit community
