Hey i like your 1KSP thinking and now the price has increased that seems reasonable. I have been thinking of 5KSP being a healthy minimum amount to accumulate before drawing any out. Long term i would love to make a living here and keep the capitol growing.

I dont know if you caught the article but the 1KSP comes from my belief that:
A) STEEM will one day be $100 and
B) That $100,000 will change the lives of 98% of the individuals in the world.
As for withdrawals, that is up to the individual circumstance but my view is with something like this, do your best not to touch it. I am sure you would hate to take 500 SP out at 5K only to see the price then go up another 20 fold.
If my hypothesis is correct about the potential here, and it is reached, 5000 SP in a few years will be generational money. I believe this can have that big an impact. We will see how things unfold but there is a foundation for a buy, HODL, and check back in a few years from now.
