Personally I think most (all?) investors are better off investing into established coins and those that have some kind of product actually operating. Having said that I have a few speculative coins myself - although have not participated in an ICO.

To me EOS should be avoided. People don't seem to understand they are buying an ERC20 coin on top of ethereum (as I understand it). Therefore, you are not buying an EOS coin that is running on an EOS blockchain - since, you know, they do not exist at all.

This project may turn out to be very cool, very important. But, I think there is plenty of time to wait for the real thing to come out and prove itself.
