Have you ever thought about why your Steemit blog doesn't receive a lot of upvotes and $$? Would you like to boost your blog on Steemit and become a dolphin --> A whale?

Hi Steemians, today I am going to share with you my top 5 tips for being a successful Steemer here on Steemit.com.

I think that there may be some people who will find those tips extremely useful but there are people who won't as well, because they haven't tried applying those tips.

So what are we waiting for? Here we go!

Tip #1: Never stop appreciating the followers you have

Many people whose blog isn't a "successful" one will stop appreciating the amount of followers they have. For example, if someone has 100-300 followers which is considered not a lot, then he/she may start thinking that their followers don't worth nothing. However, THIS IS FALSE because these followers chose to follow you and it means that they like the content you create on Steemit. You have to admire them and not to take them for granted.

Tip #2: Make more connections

Like in the real life, most people who are successful have many connections with many important people. Here on Steemit, this can be applied when you have followers who like your content and the way you write posts. The more connections you have basically means the more upvotes you receive for your posts. If you will have friends here on Steemit who are dolphins/whales, exactly guys like: @timsaid, @gringalicious, @sweetsssj, @gavvet, @roelandp, @teamsteem (And the list is way more longer).

The easiest way to communicate with other Steemers is by commenting on other posts. If you want to make new friends which will become your followers as well and read your content then you should start to communicate with others as soon as possible, AND COMMINCAUTE A LOT!

Tip #3: Write interesting content and DO NOT SPAM!

Just like in the social media, if people post un-interesting content then other people won't be interested in reading it. You have to remember that on Steemit, the payout you receive depends on the upvotes you receive. So your interest needs to be to post only interesting content which other people will find useful/worth reading.

In addition, do not post more than 3 posts a day (In my opinion). I think that it is too many posts for one day and if you upload to many posts people will stop being excited about reading your posts as your content becomes "less worthy" compared to users who upload about 1-2 posts a day or Steemers who don't post everyday.

Tip #4: Use bots to increase the "BOOM!" effect of your new posts

I strongly recommend to use upvoting bots just like: @randowhale, @minnowbooster, @booster, @lovejuice and more. These bots are not always profitable, so you have to make sure that you don't spend to much money on it.

So why should you use these bots?

The answer is pretty simple: On Steemit, new posts which receive high post payouts fast, means that they are popular. Even if you are not a whale who is used to receive many upvotes in a short term, you can also make your post more noticeable to other Steemers. You will have to act fast after submitting a new post if you want to reach the "BOOM!" effect which makes other Steemers to be interested in reading your new post.

Tip #5: Gain a lot of SP (Steem Power)

If you really want to become a whale, then SP is the key. If you have more SP you will have way more influence and Steemers will start to notice this fact. Gaining a high amount of SP may be dangerous for people who are planning to withdraw their money in a short term as the value of Steem can go up/down, so your money is not guaranteed when it is in SP form.

CONCLUSION

It is really hard to be successful on Steemit. We have to remember that if it was easy to become successful here, then it wasn't worthy. The main key for being successful on Steemit and in life is to persist. Never give up on your targets and keep applying the tips I mentioned above. I am sure that your situation will become much better and your blog will become much more popular!

Great post!

Even if someone follows any one of these tips, success is guaranteed. All of the points are very relevant for newcomers.

It would be really nice if you could please check out my Missing Steemit FAQ, my latest post and give your feedback.

Sure, I will check it out, @maxabit! Thanks ;)

Thanks for the info!

No problem, I hope you found it useful! :)

Very helpful, I also use bots to get on the "hot" list. It always works very well so far!

Yeah. This is one of the most important things to apply. Thanks for commenting, @cryptogainer!

i found @booster upvote very late

Yeah.. It upvotes every 2.4 hours so it may take some time :)

Hey my friend,

thanks for this post. It's always good to read this kind of post of someone who is already longer here. Simple because you know the platform better than all minows. I also wrote already a short series about it and I am always looking for new tips.

I agree with all Pinots you mention, but I would like to know if you should focus the only one which of those you mention would be your master advice?

My master advice would be to communicate with others. It builds your connections on Steemit and really makes your blog more successful.

Thanks for your answer :)
I had the feeling that this would be your number one.
And I can totally agree with it.

Glad to help!

Good tips, @lazariko12 !!! I can add just one thing: be patient and have fun ^_^

This is a very important thing as well. Thanks for mentioning this point, @silviabeneforti!

Thanks for the bots tip!

Commenting is a game changer for sure. I used to only write and post, but realized I have been missing out a lot.

Yeah. We must maintain it, buddy!

Good tips.

You do have a really bad typo though, which is in an ironic place:

AND COMMINCAUTE A LOT!

Thanks :D

It's been 26 minutes since you said thanks, and you did not fix it yet. Strange?

Damn this post is just too awesome!
@lazariko12 you just nailed for not just beginners but a whole lot of steemians as this post boost peoples interest in steeming in the long run

Thank you so much, @mickyscofield. I am here to help all the other Steemers to grow. I more than appreciate the awesome support you give me ;)

I will just focus on your first tip with which I intensely agree. Herein, lies a bit of a challenge. I have certain folks with which we mutually follow and write good-great content. There is only so much of me and them. While it is nice to follow Dolphins and Whales, as well as to people with whom I am most loyal will respond to my comments whether they upvote or not. The responses mean far more to me than the upvotes. This sort of relationships is why I have these sort of relationships in the first place.

I never write spam or pandering comments. Usually, if I make a comment it is, at least, as long as this one or more. I have upvoted on numerous Dolphin/Whale posts which I deemed worthy of my upvote for the content (not because of their "status") AND commented upon, only to be non-acknowledged. Therefore, I tend to save my commenting energies and upvotes for the tried and true folks. Maybe, my growth will be slower, but it's more peaceful. Be well.

I totally agree with your perspective, @aedroberts! Thank you for mentioning this point.

Thanks for the amazing tips, I am also giving a lot of good tips, I call those tips: Steemit Advice, I hope you'll like them. ☺

I will check them out, thanks, @clixmoney!

Great advice, i just love this platform and I think it will only get better with time. I'm only 5 weeks in to my steemit journey and it's pretty slow going. I've started to use bots on my best posts and so far so good but of course this is unlikely to bring you success overnight, time and perseverance seem to be vital for a smooth ascent. Thanks for the tips lazariko12.... djr420 steeming on
