What a genius idea!
Ive just come across steemit and hope to be posting regularly on here.
I'm a recent medical school graduate in the UK and will be using this space to share my experiences of the healthcare system based on what I have been taught and seen in the last 6 years. A lot of positives and many negatives that will surprise you about what is being taught to the new generation of doctors!!

Hopefully you can impart some of your fresh knowledge to keep some of us who qualified a while ago up to date.
There is so much new information these days it is hard to keep up!
Plus the NHS is constantly changing - once you get into your speciality it is impossible to keep track of things in general.
Specialisation has its advantages but sadly one of the problems is that you lose sight of the connections between different diseases and I think it can hinder progress in some respects.
The time it has taken people to consider the importance of the microbiome is a good example of this I think.
