Commit To Constant And Never-Ending Improvement: Thought For The Day #33 💭✍

in #steem6 years ago

'We have an innate desire to endlessly learn, grow, and develop. We want to become more then what we already are. Once we yield to this inclination for continuous and never-ending improvement, we lead a life of endless accomplishments and satisfaction.' (Chuck Gallozzi)

One of life's realities is that major improvements take time; they don't happen overnight. But because so many of today#s products and services promise overnight perfection, we've come to expect instant gratification - and we become discouraged when it doesn't happen. However, if you make a commitment to learning something new every day, getting just a little bit better every day, then eventually - over time - you will reach your goals.

'He who stops being better stops being good' (Oliver Cromwell).

'You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine' (John Maxwell).

Over time, these little changes can make a huge difference in your results. If you were to cut out an hour of watching television a day, that 365 hours would add up to 9 40-hour work weeks a year! That's a huge amount of time. I hope that perspective helps!

Well this one really hits home. I stopped watching TV about seven years ago. I'm probably still exposed to about twenty hours a year though. There have been many changes I've made to try and improve myself. Some small some big. My family at times questioning my sanity. But I'm definitely a better human being than before. But will never be perfect, no one ever is.

The TV example is REALLY powerful. I admire you for that, I would like to head in that direction completely (I don't watch the news or generic TV) but it is challenging. Great thoughts, keep going. Thank you for commenting, feel free to do so more in the future! Upvoted 100%!

That's why many people died did not reach their dream because they keep repeating they same mistakes all over again.

#Continuous Improvements

Before you reach to the top you need to step the first ladder.

#No cutting corners

Great!👍

That is true, it important not to judge ourselves though. Exactly, small steps make the way! Great comment, thank you for posting. Feel free to share your thoughts in the future! 100% Upvote!

yeah small steps can lead into big steps. 👍

steps that are progressing. most of the time we see in our own deceptive eyes and think in our own shallow thoughts that there is no progress happening in superfacial but continually endure we will reap a good harvest if we do not give up.

#Behind the scene there is a greater occurrence.
