Most people are hardwired to think that they are a gift to mankind and people would be lost without them.
We are also hired wired to try to gain all the attention to us because we feel that being the center of attention have power to make be heard and push our "brand"
Social media fuelled further our need to be in the spotlight and get likes and upvotes that people got depressed if their Instagram photo does get 100 reacts or likes.
Same when we started with Steemit. We posted a great travel post or that philosophy piece on man's addiction to attention and nobody reads it.
People do not owe us anything. It is our choice to be in Steemit, build relationships, forge friendships and have deep human connections.
If ever we decide to leave it is not going to fall apart. Someone will step up. Sure it might not have your presence but its not the end of the world or blockchain.
So to the people who thing that life is unfair in Steemit what are you doing? Are you doing your best or are you merely doing the minimal amount of work and expecting good things to fall in your lap.
If you leave Steemit and go back to your Social Media apps like Facebook and Instagram and share that post or poem or kick ass movie of your trip to a beautiful place what do you get aside from the likes? Nothing not a single cent.
So I am staying in Steemit, just keep posting and just increase my SP.
