SBD is meant to be pegged at $1 US however has never stayed at this level. SBD is currently valued at above $10 US while Steem is sitting at above $7 US at the moment.
It's all very confusing however Steemit essentially has 2 different currencies. SBD and Steem. And both are valued differently.
