Well Rodeo or should I say Saipan, you are an example of authors who are putting work into Steemit and using the Bots for visibility. It takes you hours to make your posts as you have told us yourself and the work into them is obvious.
I'm also powering up as much as I can, with a lower value of Steem it just might be the best strategy right now.

Thank you! Yeah, I really think that it is the best strategy for now, I figured since I have some SBD to spend from my post earnings I'm not really losing anything per se, I'm just re-investing what I've generated on here right back into the platform.
I've even gone and delegated away a bunch of my SP to some of the bots at MSP, because I recognized that that's probably the best use of my limited SP for now, until I get enough to really stand on my own two feet.
At least this way, not only are my posts being upvoted and generating tens of cents, but my SP has been given a sort of boost for other people's posts, who are now automatically being supported by what little bit of SP I gave the bot. :)
Its exactly that type of thinking that creates strong communities brother!
