I got a late start on my achocha this year. I sprouted them from seeds, then once they got 3 or 4 inches high, they died. Happened twice before I spotted the culprit. Fungus/Mold from the soil I had used. Leftover soil from last year. I have a property line behind my house with a fence and i am going to try and route them up that fence. If not, I may have to find a place for a trellis. I only have a little over an acre here, and being in south Alabama, most of it floods with just the simplest of rain storms.
