Just curious, does steem have a cap similar to Bitcoin? Or does it operate similarly to Ethereum, where it can keep reproducing coin as long as there is demand? Thanks for the post! I'm officially in for the long haul! Power up

Okay Steem's inflation rate is at 9.5% in the first year. It decreases by 0.5% every year, until it reaches 0.5% - 1.5% (can't remember the exact number) in ~20 years. Today there's 250m steem, 660m steem by 2036. There's no hard cap for now, much like Ethereum.
